The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Hospital of Stomatology Lanzhou University covers the aspects of clinical, education and scientific research.

We have a multidisciplinary workforce of almost 50 people of which 17 doctors and 25 nurses. Among them, 9 mentors for M.S. 

The Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery undertakes the teaching mission of undergraduates, postgraduates, disciplined students, and advanced students. It teaches courses in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Introduction to Stomatology, and Oral Prevention and Health Care. 

In recent years, the department has published more than 50 academic papers and completed more than 20 items research projects, includes the Fourth Oral Health Epidemiological Survey, the Comprehensive Oral Intervention Project for Children in  Central and Western Regions, the Science and Technology Support Project of Gansu Province, the Natural Science Foundation of Gansu Province, the Science and Technology Plan of Gansu Province, and the Traditional Chinese Medicine of Gansu Province.
