In order to attract excellent students, establish regular links and a long-term communication mechanism with high schools boasting outstanding students, and further enhance the influence of Lanzhou University, from April 23 to 28, Associate Professor Dong Genxi and Teacher Wang Lei, members of the admissions propaganda group of School of Stomatology, went to provincial-level demonstrative high schools including No.1 Senior Middle School of Shuangyashan, No. 1 High School of Zhaodong City and Yachen High School of Wuchang City in Heilongjiang Province for undergraduate enrollment promotion.

Heilongjiang Province is located in the northernmost end of our country, so the traffic there is extremely bad. After a two-day journey, our enrollment publicity group first arrived at No.1 Senior Middle School of Shuangyashan. In order to make the teachers and students there to gain more, deeper and more comprehensive understanding of Lanzhou University, they specially arranged the licensing ceremony of the excellent student base in the recess exercise time which was attended by all the teachers and students of the school.

Then the two teachers went to No. 1 High School of Zhaodong City where associate Professor Dong Genxi delivered a vivid lecture to the students in terms of how to plan their own life, how to select their major, how to choose colleges and universities and how to determine the way forward.

Finally, the two teachers had a panel discussion with the president, grade leaders and head teachers of Yachen High School in Wuchang City, introduced the relevant situations and enrollment policies of Lanzhou University in detail, and signed the agreement of "excellent student source base" with the school.
