The Department of Oral Medicine is a comprehensive department for the diagnosis and treatment of oral mucosal diseases, endodontic disease, periodontal diseases and children's oral diseases, especially for common disease of the oral mucosa (recurrent aphthous ulcer, cheilitis, oral candidiasis, herpes gingivostomatitis, oral lichen planus, pemphigus, etc.) and precancerous lesion (leukoplakia, erythema, etc.). The diagnosis of oral mucosal diseases is mainly based on clinical manifestations. If necessary, biopsy is needed to confirm the diagnosis. Regarding treatment，local and systemic therapy，Chinese traditional medicine and western medicine as well as physiotherapy were conjunctively applied to oral mucosal diseases. Meanwhile，we actively carries out new technologies and projects，such as using laser to treat common oral mucosal diseases.
