On January 16, 2018, the kick-off meeting of National Research Center for Clinical Medicine of Oral Disease, Peking University Hospital of Stomatology center was held at Peking University Hospital of Stomatology. At this kick-off meeting, Hospital of Stomatology Lanzhou University has become the sub-center of National Research Center for Clinical Medicine of Oral Disease in Peking University Hospital of Stomatology. Baoguo Tian (the deputy director of the Department of S&T for Social Development of the Ministry of Science and Technology), Peixin WU (the deputy director of the Science and Technology Education Division of National Health Commission), academician Qimin zhan (the vice president and medical director of Peking University), Guangyan Yu (president of Chinese Stomatological Association) and specialists from 37 hospital of stomatology attended the meeting. Bin Liu, the dean of the School/ Hospital of Stomatology Lanzhou University, attended the kick-off meeting and accepted the award on behalf of the hospital.

In order to accelerate subject construction, in December 2016, our hospital signed support agreement with Peking University Hospital of Stomatology. In that year we invited deans Chuanbin Guo and other experts to have on-site guidance and academic lectures in our college. Moreover, our hospital had sent 10 middle-level cadres or young teachers to Peking University Hospital of Stomatology for comprehensive training revolving management, discipline construction, teaching, scientific research and clinic. Now, our hospital was honored to be a sub-center of National Research Center for Clinical Medicine of Oral Disease in Peking University Hospital of Stomatology, which will help to further keep closer bilateral communication and cooperation, promote oral clinical queue, big data and high level research such as remote and intelligent medical treatment, and enhance the level of first-class discipline construction of stomatology in our school.
